Underwriting Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant - GL and Excess - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-quote transaction support, including data validation and documentation verification
• Manage post-bind transactions, ensuring accuracy in policy issuance and premium booking
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of insurance operations experience
• Strong expertise in surplus lines policy issuance and post-bind operations
• College degree preferred
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel
• Excellent math and data analysis skills
