A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant (Inland Marine) to support Underwriters and assist with customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize electronic policy files according to department standards
- Issue policies and process endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements within required timeframes
- Provide customer service by responding to requests for status updates and information promptly
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry experience
- Basic to intermediate skills with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Self-motivation and ability to prioritize workload with minimal supervision
- Ability to make sound business decisions within level of authority
