A company is looking for an Underwriting Quality Assurance Lead to establish and lead the underwriting audit process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits of underwriting files to assess compliance with guidelines and documentation quality
- Build and refine the QA/audit process, including workflows and reporting templates
- Deliver constructive feedback and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance underwriting practices
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance underwriting, quality assurance, or internal audit
- Strong understanding of underwriting processes and documentation standards
- Experience building or scaling audit/QA programs is a major plus
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements impacting underwriting practices
- Ability to design new processes and adapt quickly in a rapidly evolving environment
