Virginia Licensed Accounting Lecturer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lecturer in Accounting for a remote online position.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach existing accounting courses and assist in developing additional courses aligned with CPA Exam learning objectives
• Provide online instruction to adult learners, typically meeting synchronously one night per week
• Ensure courses meet educational standards and support students in achieving program learning outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree or terminal degree in the teaching area or a closely related field is required
• Active CPA license, CMA, and/or CISA is preferred but not mandatory
• Evidence of previous online teaching experience and knowledge of best practices for adult learners is preferred
• At least two years of relevant industry and/or teaching experience is preferred
• Experience in course design and development is advantageous
