Washington Licensed Utilization Review RN

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Review RN.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts admission and continued stay reviews to ensure hospitalization is warranted based on established criteria
• Ensures compliance with utilization review principles, hospital policies, and external regulatory agencies
• Communicates and collaborates with physicians, payers, and Care Coordinators regarding review outcomes and status changes

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum two (2) years of acute hospital clinical experience or a Master's degree in Case Management or Nursing in lieu of 1 year experience
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or related healthcare field preferred
• At least five (5) years of nursing experience preferred
