A company is looking for a Lost Time Claims Specialist - Workers' Compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage indemnity claims through investigation, evaluation, and determination of compensability for work-related injury and disease claims
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective claims management and promote quality medical care
- Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements to achieve the best possible outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Three years of experience in the field of workers' compensation insurance required
- One valid workers' compensation adjuster license is strongly preferred
- Experience in workers' compensation claims practices, laws, and court procedures
- Preference for candidates with multiple state claims management experience
