Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Designer (Editorial) for 6-12 Social Studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Concept and develop instructional materials for 6-12 Social Studies courses, including textbooks and digital content
• Research curriculum requirements and oversee the manuscript preparation process for accuracy and appropriateness
• Coordinate work with freelancers, edit materials, and manage project timelines and deliverables

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant social studies field
• Minimum of 24 months of editorial or educational publishing experience
• Experience writing and editing instructional materials for secondary social studies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with digital curriculum development tools
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
