Arizona Licensed Claims Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Associate - Medical only Examiner.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze reported lower-level workers compensation claims to determine benefits due and ensure ongoing adjudication
• Process workers compensation claims, monitor reserve accuracy, and file necessary documentation with state agencies
• Communicate claim actions with claimants, clients, and medical contacts while maintaining professional relationships

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; licenses as required
• One (1) year of general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Claims industry experience preferred
• Two (2) years or more of direct claim handling or applicable transferable skills in the claims industry
• Prior medical only desk level handling or AZ license/certification is a plus
