Bankruptcy Ledger Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bankruptcy Ledger Specialist to manage and monitor ledgers through the bankruptcy process for residential mortgage loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and complete ledgers for all bankruptcy processes with high accuracy
• Verify and research borrower payment history, resolving discrepancies and updating records
• Respond to inquiries from bankruptcy attorneys and internal departments regarding mortgage accounts

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required; bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Three to five (3-5) years of bankruptcy experience in the banking, finance, or mortgage industry
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience balancing ledgers is required
