Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant for a 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete month-end and year-end close tasks related to payroll, benefits, bonuses, and commissions
• Prepare and reconcile assigned GL accounts and analyze financial data for variance explanations
• Support accounting projects, process improvements, and system implementations while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in general accounting, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment
• Expertise in payroll and benefits accounting and reconciliation
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 340
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and experience with major ERP systems
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
