A company is looking for a Bereavement Support Group Facilitator.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts bereavement group sessions to assist family members and staff in understanding and supporting clients
- Evaluates the needs of bereaved family members and creates educational bereavement materials
- Documents group processes and identifies individuals needing follow-up support
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in human services; Master's degree preferred in a related field
- Minimum of three years of group facilitation experience with a focus on supportive counseling
- Expertise in training/development or adult education methodologies
- Knowledge of grief and bereavement, group dynamics, and community resources
- Ability to travel as needed
