Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bereavement Support Group Facilitator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts bereavement group sessions to assist family members and staff in understanding and supporting clients
  • Evaluates the needs of bereaved family members and creates educational bereavement materials
  • Documents group processes and identifies individuals needing follow-up support
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in human services; Master's degree preferred in a related field
  • Minimum of three years of group facilitation experience with a focus on supportive counseling
  • Expertise in training/development or adult education methodologies
  • Knowledge of grief and bereavement, group dynamics, and community resources
  • Ability to travel as needed
