A company is looking for a Billing + Claims Support Representative to join their Customer Support team.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate clients on billing and claims procedures, responding to inquiries via email
- Conduct outbound calls to payors for member authorization and claim discussions
- Suggest updates to departmental knowledge materials and recommend process improvements
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience with health insurance claims in a support-related capacity
- Knowledge of Behavioral Health terminology and understanding of insurance benefits
- Familiarity with PHI and HIPAA guidelines
- 2 or 4 year college degree preferred
- Experience in tele-health or medical insurance industries is a plus
