Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist to support their Specialty Infusion Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate medical claims based on contracted agreements for various payers
• Review claims for pricing discrepancies and create secondary claims in a timely manner
• Provide customer service regarding billing inquiries and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Required Qualifications

• Home infusion experience required
• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1+ years' experience in medical billing preferred
• Knowledge of HCPC coding and medical terminology
• Working knowledge of ICD10, CPT, and NCCI regulations
• Experience with infusion and specialty pharmacy billing is ideal
