Job Summary

A company is looking for a California Labor & Employment Staff Attorney or Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle employment litigation, including drafting pleadings and managing the discovery process
• Represent clients in various legal settings, including EEOC charges and mediations
• Collaborate with experienced lawyers and manage a flexible workload without billable hour expectations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of employment litigation experience, preferably on the management-side
• Experience with federal and state court practices and relevant administrative agencies
• Active bar license in the state of residence and in a state where the company has an office
• Strong time management skills and flexibility in work schedule
• Desire to work on exciting matters without the demands of a full-time position
