Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Counsel responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and managing legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise senior management on compliance, governance, and legal issues related to nonprofit operations
• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and agreements with external partners
• Provide guidance on risk management and participate in strategic planning initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree with 3-5 years of experience in nonprofit contracts administration or compliance roles
• Knowledge of nonprofit governance and relevant laws, including tax regulations
• Experience in communicating legal matters effectively to non-legal audiences
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Supervisory experience preferred
