About the position
Responsibilities
• Receive incoming calls and assist patients with appointment management and inquiries.
• Provide extraordinary customer service and problem-solving support to strengthen the patient/clinician relationship.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) and EPIC systems to manage patient information effectively.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients to improve access and understanding of their care.
• Handle a minimum of 70 calls a day while maintaining a high level of service.
Requirements
• A minimum of one year in a clinical or customer service setting preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and EPIC or other registration systems required.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
Nice-to-haves
• Working knowledge of patient-related documents preferred.
• A bachelor’s or other non-clinical degree combined with an interest in healthcare.
