Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operations of integrated care management and utilization management programs
- Process calls from members, providers, and other internal and external areas in a contact center environment
- Provide members with educational materials and implement strategies to enhance healthcare adherence and reduce barriers to care
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two years of work experience in a healthcare environment required
- Minimum of one year of telephonic customer service experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strongly prefer Medical Assistant, Home Health Aide, Nursing Assistant, or similar healthcare para-professional training or certification
- Managed care experience and familiarity with medical terminology, ICD, CPT, and/or coding preferred
