Certified Coding Educator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Educator to join their leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train new hires, manage team schedules, and oversee employee performance
• Develop and coordinate curriculum related to coding and billing regulations, providing education to staff and stakeholders
• Monitor revenue cycle activities, identify missed revenue opportunities, and ensure compliance with coding standards

Required Qualifications

• AHIMA or AAPC Coding Certification
• Minimum of five years of progressively complex coding experience for outpatient and provider services
• Comprehensive knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT coding
• Proficient knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and third-party coding requirements
• Intermediate computer skills with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and OneNote
