Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Assistant to support the medical team and patients in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient enrollment, engagement, and care management throughout the Heart Failure Program
• Manage telehealth schedules and conduct patient intake, including vital signs and health questionnaires
• Provide patient education and maintain accurate patient records while ensuring excellent patient-centric care

Required Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant through a recognized certification exam within one year of issuance
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 3 months of experience in a medical office setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures; cardiology experience is a plus
• Proficiency in electronic health records and strong computer skills
