Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Medical Coding Specialist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Consults on proper coding rules in value-based contracts and strategizes solutions to maximize quality payments
• Serves as a technical resource for contract pricing issues and conducts complex business analyses to ensure compliance
• Develops guides for providers on billing methodologies and collaborates with internal teams for process improvement

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years of experience in risk adjustment coding, ambulatory coding, or health insurance
• CCS-Certified Coding Specialist or equivalent certification required upon hire
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
• Experience in medical auditing and training/presenting to large groups is a plus
