Charge Description Master Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Description Master Analyst II.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collects and analyzes data to deliver results and perform routine audits while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Provides training and support to CDM Analysts and communicates changes to coding and billing protocols to clinical departments
• Leads multi-disciplinary groups to enhance revenue management and ensures compliance with charging and coding through regular audits and updates

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Six years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a preference for Charge Master, EAP, and coding experience
• Experience in physician and hospital operations, compliance, and provider relations
• Certifications in patient access or patient accounting; coding certification preferred
• CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire
