Senior Payer Policy Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Payer Policy Analyst to assist with policy and alliance development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with state Medicaid contacts to improve reimbursement for genetic testing
• Monitor payer policy updates and act as a liaison between medical directors and payer medical directors
• Support the development of policy positions and advocate for company interests regarding legislation and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of relevant work experience (or 7 years without a degree)
• Advanced degree (MBA, JD, M.A./M.S., CGC, RN) is preferred
• Experience developing State Medicaid relationships and reimbursement for genetic testing
• Prior work experience with insurance guidelines and payer policy
• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management including prior authorization and billing compliance
