Commercial Credit Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Credit Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze loan application documents for completeness, creditworthiness, and compliance
• Prepare detailed credit memorandums including financial analysis and collateral analysis
• Conduct underwriting calls with borrowers and coordinate 3rd party reports into the credit analysis

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum of three years' experience in credit analysis and underwriting of commercial loans
• Completion of a formal bank Credit Training Program or RMA Credit Courses
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Economics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Experience with SBA 7A and/or 504 Credit & Underwriting preferred
