Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Loan Underwriter to evaluate and analyze business loan requests for commercial and small business loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business loan data, performance, and risks, including site visits and collateral reviews
• Prepare and analyze the creditworthiness of commercial real estate loans through cash flow analysis and financial statement evaluation
• Write and update procedures related to business loans and maintain quality control processes

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of business and commercial lending underwriting experience, including SBA loan underwriting
• Solid knowledge of commercial and business lending and underwriting practices
• Working knowledge of commercial loan files and relevant regulatory guidelines
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• 4-year degree in Business or a related field or equivalent experience
