Construction Risk Mitigation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Construction Risk Mitigation Specialist to oversee troubled projects and collaborate with borrowers and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between borrowers, builders, and senior management to address troubled projects
• Monitor an active pipeline of troubled loans requiring remediation and provide timely updates on resolution efforts
• Engage with outside legal counsel to ensure timely remediation of open cases

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience, preferred
• 5+ years of experience in the mortgage industry
• Encompass LOS experience, preferred
• Knowledge of all agency guidelines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
