A company is looking for a Contract Specialist I.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare medical and dental plan documents for standard and non-standard groups in compliance with regulations
- Function as a subject matter expert and respond to inquiries regarding plan documents
- Produce Summary of Benefit and Coverage (SBC) and Plan Change Form documents
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-2 years of insurance experience preferred in Claims and/or Customer Service
- Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
- Minimum typing ability of 35 wpm
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and project a professional image
