CPA Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Assistant Corporate Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting activities and ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policy
• Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and provide support for acquired companies
• Research and implement GAAP compliance for complex accounting areas and monitor new accounting standards

Required Qualifications

• CPA required
• 3+ years of public accounting experience and 5-10 years of industry experience
• Experience leading accounting teams of 6-12 employees or more
• Direct experience with GAAP technical accounting and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP systems integration is helpful
