CPC Certified Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Reimbursement Specialist III.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in specialty coding, including oncology and surgical coding
• Assign CPT and ICD codes for moderate to high complexity cases and perform charge reconciliation
• Communicate with providers regarding coding issues and educate them on coding rationales

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of coding experience required
• CPC or equivalent coding credential required
• Maintain coding certification (CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA)
• Extensive knowledge of coding, medical terminology, anatomy, and payer-specific rules
