Job Summary
A company is looking for a Crash Simulation Engineer to support research in crash safety and human injury biomechanics in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, coordinate, and manage simulation projects to meet client objectives and timelines
- Develop sled finite element models and simulate vehicle impacts while performing post-simulation data analysis
- Create technical reports and presentations to communicate complex findings to clients
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust Clearance in the United States
- Master's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or similar field)
- 2+ years of experience running vehicle crash simulations using LS-DYNA
- Proven experience in post-crash injury analysis and familiarity with FMVSS regulations and NCAP protocols
- Hands-on experience with tools such as LS-OPT, ANSA, and META
