Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to safeguard corporate and public cloud environments that host financial services platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance monitoring, reporting, and alerts to identify and address threats
• Manage vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools to detect weaknesses
• Design, deploy, and manage security controls, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or related field required
• Three years of experience in security engineering, software engineering, or information assurance required
• Two years of experience designing and implementing security controls in a relevant role required
• Experience with AWS, Linux, Kubernetes, Git, and scripting in shell and Python required
• Technical knowledge of cybersecurity tools and ability to design security controls across various systems
