Cybersecurity Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cybersecurity Officer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an understanding of business areas and integrate cybersecurity into business strategies
• Provide expert security guidance for projects and oversee the implementation of technical security measures
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Privacy, and IT teams to enhance the effectiveness of the cybersecurity program

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience
• 10 years of cybersecurity or related experience
• Professional certification such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, or CISM is preferred
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies
• Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations, such as ISO27001 and HIPAA Security Rule
