Database Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Operations Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain multiple database platforms (Postgres, Oracle, MSSQL, Redis, MongoDB, Materialize)
• Monitor health, performance, and availability of production and non-production databases
• Automate administrative tasks with scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible)

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a DBA supporting multiple RDBMS and NoSQL platforms
• Hands-on skills in Postgres, Oracle, MSSQL, Redis, MongoDB, and Materialize
• Experience with database backup, restore, clustering, and replication
• Strong knowledge of SQL tuning and indexing
• Scripting and automation experience
