Director of Liability Claims

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Liability Claims (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of professional and general liability claims, including strategy development and negotiation of settlements
• Advise facility and regional personnel on internal investigations related to liability claims
• Direct defense counsel and recommend policy changes regarding liability claims management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA preferred
• 5-7 years of risk management or claims management experience, preferably in healthcare or personal injury
• Advanced knowledge of litigation management and civil litigation
• Managerial skills and proficiency in computer skills
• Knowledge of the long-term care industry and relevant state and federal regulations
