Mortgage Closing Specialist II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Closing Specialist II who will act as an intermediary in the loan closing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain effective communication with all parties involved in closing transactions to ensure a seamless experience
• Obtain necessary closing documentation and perform thorough compliance reviews of loan files
• Prepare and issue Closing Disclosures and closing documents, ensuring timely funding of loans

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree plus a minimum of 2 years' prior mortgage experience, or a combined 4 years' higher education and/or work experience including 2 years' mortgage experience
• Strong PC skills with knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and email software
• Specialized knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and policies
• Ability to make sound decisions and function independently within time constraints
• Notary Public certification preferred
