Director of Revenue Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Technical Revenue Accounting to optimize revenue recognition processes and lead a technical revenue accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the revenue recognition process and ensure compliance with ASC 606
• Review sales contracts for accounting implications and provide technical guidance
• Act as the primary contact for revenue-related matters during external audits

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA preferred)
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public accounting
• Expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
• Experience in AdTech, SaaS, or technology industries with custom contracts
• Hands-on experience with revenue accounting close processes and audits
