Director of Technical Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Technical Accounting & Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical accounting support and manage external consulting matters as needed
• Draft quarterly financial statements and oversee related control activities
• Provide guidance on complex accounting transactions and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in software or technology companies
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and an active CPA license
• Public accounting experience with Big 4 firms
• Expertise in technical accounting issues and complex transactions
• Experience with M&A due diligence, valuations, and hedge accounting
