Job Summary
A company is looking for a Disability Claims Analyst - Long Term Disability (LTD).
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and analyze claimants' medical conditions and policy provisions to determine eligibility for disability benefits
- Develop and execute claim management strategies to ensure accurate payments and liability management
- Provide customer service and resolve inquiries from claimants, policyholders, and other stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Minimum eighteen months of experience in disability claims administration
- 5+ years of progressive experience in long-term disability claims is highly preferred
- Degree in arts & sciences, business, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws affecting claim investigation and disability decisions
- Ability to analyze medical, technical, and legal information related to disability claims
