Job Summary
A company is looking for an Employment Litigation Managing Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing lawsuits, arbitrations, and other legal disputes, including overseeing outside counsel
- Interviewing and retaining law firms/outside counsel, while managing budgets
- Serving as a strategic legal partner, providing advice on risk mitigation and compliance with employment laws
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Significant experience in employment litigation and arbitration
- Experience managing outside counsel and litigation budgets
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
