Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the development and implementation of the technical roadmap through stakeholder collaboration
• Lead a team of 6 engineers in all aspects of the software development lifecycle
• Take ownership of systems and actively troubleshoot issues as they arise

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in backend application development
• Experience building robust, scalable Java applications using Java, Spring, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Kafka
• Knowledge of REST, Microservices, and distributed systems
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum methodologies in a cloud-based environment
