A company is looking for an Environmental Health Functional Scientific Researcher.
Key Responsibilities
- Support federal agencies in developing and evaluating traditional and computational approaches in environmental health
- Conduct research on the effects of environmental pollutants on human health and the environment
- Provide expertise in new approach methods (NAMs) and related scientific fields
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in a biomedical field or related area with a minimum of one year of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with four years of additional experience
- Expertise in new approach methods (NAMs) or a related scientific field is required
- Experience in toxicology, hazard assessment, epidemiology, or risk assessment is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of science professionals
- Willingness to support various federal agencies, including the U.S. EPA and NIH
