Job Summary
A company is looking for a Social Service Specialist/Healthcare Customer Service Representative, Remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responds to calls from clients' members or patients regarding eligibility for benefits and access to community social services
- Engages members in assessments to identify needs and eligibility for resources related to social determinants of health
- Researches and provides options for community resources, assists members in accessing identified resources, and ensures member satisfaction through follow-up contact
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a professional office and fast-paced environment
- 1+ year of experience in a Customer Service Center
- At least one year of social services or healthcare experience desired
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor of Social Work strongly preferred
- Strong computer and data entry skills
