Description:
• Support genetic counseling services to patients for the genetic tests offered by Vitrolife Group, especially for preimplantation genetic testing for monogenic disorders (PGT-M) and preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A).
• Help coordinate the genetic testing process among genetic counselors, laboratory locations, and administrators within Vitrolife Group.
• Facilitate communication between Vitrolife Group genetic counselors and our client health care providers.
• Work in the genetic counseling department alongside other genetic counseling assistants and genetic counselors.
• Provide patient support throughout their reproductive journey and help reduce barriers to building a family.
• Take on additional opportunities depending on interest and performance.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years employment commitment.
• Empathy, patience, and respect for patients and their situations.
• Superior writing ability, attention to detail, problem-solving skills and professionalism.
• Willingness to change and adapt to the evolving needs of a company.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both health care providers and patients.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, and excellent skills for teamwork and collaboration.
• Interest in a career path in genetic counseling and/or infertility/ART.
• Proficiency with Microsoft, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States (employment verification required).
• Successful background check required.
