Governance & Risk Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Governance & Risk Specialist to establish and oversee governance frameworks for AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Classify risks for AI systems and conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)
• Maintain documentation for AI agents, including purpose, limitations, lineage, and performance characteristics
• Map organizational practices to regulatory and industry frameworks and operate governance checkpoints throughout the AI lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Experience in risk management, governance, compliance, or trust & safety in technology or AI-driven environments
• Strong knowledge of data protection frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA
• Familiarity with AI governance standards including NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC AI standards
• Demonstrated ability to run governance gates, audits, or compliance checkpoints
• Skilled in producing clear documentation for technical and executive stakeholders
