HCC Coding Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Team Lead, HCC Risk Adjustment Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Coding Supervisors in monitoring coders' quality and efficiency, and provide education on coding errors
• Track audits and provide timely feedback to coders, assisting with quality improvement and KPI tracking
• Collaborate with the Quality Department to meet accuracy expectations and report trends for educational opportunities

Required Qualifications

• AHIMA (CCS, CCS-P) or AAPC (CPC, CPC-H, COC, CIC, CRC) certified credentials
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10 and medical terminology
• 2 years of HCC coding experience
• 1+ years of Team Lead experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
