Head of QA Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Engineering, QA.

Key Responsibilities

• Own QA strategy by defining the framework for automation, functional, performance, and compliance testing
• Build and scale automation by leading the design and implementation of Playwright-based test frameworks
• Ensure reliability by monitoring dashboards, scaling automation coverage, and fixing failing tests quickly

Required Qualifications

• Founder or 0-1 experience in building QA processes and teams from scratch
• 6-8+ years of QA experience with strong expertise in Playwright
• 3-4+ years of strong people leadership experience
• Proven ability to automate functional UI and API test cases
• Hands-on experience with QA tools such as Playwright, Cypress, and PyTest
