A company is looking for an Insurance Claims Specialist HB.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit accurate and timely claims to third party payers
- Resolve claim edits and account errors prior to claim submission
- Gather statistics, complete reports, and perform other clerical duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of medical billing or medical office experience preferred
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to hospital billing
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient information
- Experience with payer portals and websites for claim status verification
