Job Summary
A company is looking for a Financial Clearance Representative responsible for managing pre-service insurance reviews for healthcare clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inquiries and concerns related to insurance to facilitate successful registration and claims processing
- Take calls from patients and insurance companies to resolve complex insurance issues
- Exceed Key Performance Indicators for accuracy and performance in call handling
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED) required
- Prior work experience in a call center and healthcare customer service setting is preferred
- Familiarity with medical billing and coding is preferred
- Prior work experience in a medical office and/or understanding of health insurance is preferred
- Prior supervisory experience is welcome in this growing company
