Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Follow Up Representative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact insurance companies to secure and expedite payments through follow-up and appeals resolution processes
  • Ensure accounts are properly billed and reimbursed to contribute to the financial viability of the organization
  • Act as a functional leader or reference source in communication between patients, insurance companies, and departmental staff


Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Two years post high school education or an AA degree preferred
  • Related health care or insurance industry experience
  • Knowledge of Federal and State billing requirements preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years of patient accounting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration may substitute for experience
