Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Specialist responsible for processing total loss claims on secured collateral.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process total loss claims on credit union secured collateral to recover claim payments and minimize charge offs
  • Handle CPI/SMP billing and refund files on a weekly basis
  • Ensure all available warranty refunds are processed efficiently


Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of collections experience or two years of customer service or insurance experience in lieu of collections experience required
  • PC skills and working knowledge of automated collection systems and credit reports required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and strong organizational skills are essential
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods and work in a remote, sedentary role
