Job Summary
A company is looking for an Intake Specialist to serve as a client liaison for incoming calls and facilitate the intake process.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming intake calls and provide educated responses to client inquiries
- Initiate client assessments and schedule initial intake appointments using EMR
- Coordinate client no-shows and ensure a positive experience for clients
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1-year experience in human services, healthcare, or customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong telecommunications skills and comfort with multiple IT systems
- Compassionate and enthusiastic about helping individuals with opioid dependency
